1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by the websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites function efficiently and to provide reporting and personalization. Virtual Team Technology OÜ ("vTeam Technology," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on vteam.tech to operate our store for software licenses, hosting, domains, and VPS, and to improve your browsing experience.

Cookies help keep you signed in, remember items in your cart, secure our payment flow, and understand how visitors use our platform so we can improve it.

2. Essential Cookies

Essential (or "strictly necessary") cookies are required for the website to function and cannot be disabled in our systems. They are usually set only in response to actions you take, such as logging in, adding an item to your cart, or securing a payment. These cookies enable core functionality including:

  • Authentication / session cookies — keep you signed in to your account across page loads and identify you during a browsing session.
  • Shopping cart — remember the items in your cart until you complete checkout.
  • Security tokens — protect forms and checkout against cross-site request forgery (CSRF).
  • Load balancing and availability — route requests so the site stays responsive.

Without these cookies, services such as login, checkout, and your account area cannot be provided.

3. Analytics Cookies

If enabled, analytics cookies allow us to count visits and understand how visitors use our platform so that we can measure and improve performance and usability. This includes which pages are most visited, how visitors arrived at the site, and whether error messages are displayed. Analytics cookies are used only on an aggregated, statistical basis and are not used to identify you personally. Where analytics requires your consent under applicable law, we will ask for it before setting these cookies.

4. Preference & Marketing Cookies

These cookies enhance your experience and, where you have consented, help us deliver relevant content:

  • Functional / preference cookies — remember choices such as your selected currency, language, and display preferences so we can personalize your visit.
  • Marketing cookies — used to deliver relevant offers and to measure the effectiveness of our campaigns. These are set only where you have opted in, and you may withdraw consent at any time.

5. Third-Party Cookies

We rely on trusted third-party services that may set cookies when you visit or transact on our site. These include:

  • Stripe — used to securely process payments and to support fraud detection and payment security (such as 3-D Secure). Stripe may set cookies when the checkout is loaded.
  • Brevo — used for transactional and marketing email. Brevo may set cookies to track email engagement and campaign performance where you have consented to marketing.

These third parties are controllers of their own cookies and govern them under their respective privacy policies. We encourage you to review them.

6. PWA & Local Storage

Our store is an installable Progressive Web App (PWA). To support installation, offline capability, and app-like behavior, the browser may store data using technologies other than cookies, including localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB, and a service worker cache. This storage is used to keep the app shell available offline, remember your session and cart, and cache product data so the site loads quickly. This data is stored on your device and is not shared with third parties. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings (see Section 8) or by uninstalling the app.

7. Cookie Duration

Cookies are either session cookies or persistent cookies. Session cookies are temporary and are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain on your device for a set period or until you manually delete them. The lifespan of each cookie depends on its purpose and the provider's settings. Essential session cookies expire when your browsing session ends; analytics, preference, and marketing cookies typically persist for several months.

8. Managing and Disabling Cookies

You have the right to decide whether to accept cookies. Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can usually configure your browser to accept all cookies, reject all cookies, or alert you each time a cookie is offered so you can accept or decline it.

Disabling non-essential cookies will not prevent you from using our store, but it may affect functionality such as personalization and analytics. Note that essential cookies cannot be disabled, as they are required for the site to operate. To manage cookies, consult your browser's help documentation:

  • Clear cookies and site data already stored on your device via your browser settings.
  • Use "private" or "incognito" mode to browse without storing cookies.
  • Install browser add-ons to block or manage tracking technologies.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, or legal requirements. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on our website and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
